A Pat on the Back...

Some good stuff here. I suspect that this quote -

- was written by one of our own. Any guesses as to the culprit?
We could use 'Tough but good', too. Makes us sound like Bruce Springsteen, or maybe Johnny Cash.
And "Great run with good support" is a perfect description of our Chairman's race performances so far this year.
And there is a comment on the RW message board - 'even the marshals directing us to the carpark were happy'! Is carpark-marshaling usually such an inherently depressing job?

Yes, it's amazing how Tony and Wacker managed to get a layer of snow up on High Street with their Atkinson truck...
Now you mention it, 'Tough but good' has got a ring to it. That's next year's poster sorted then..

I guess the support to which you refer is the elasticated tubiform bandage I've taken to races for support, rather than the hoots of derision as I approach the finish line............
