Good photos, congrats to the photographer-du-jour (Karen), as they say in North-West Lancs.BUT there is NOTHING here to back up the continued assertions relating to the existence of a 'Tower', or the so-called 'Ship'. Can we photoshop them in somehow?I have a couple of questions :1) How does Karen C manage to look so happy whilst she is running?2) Why is Paul checking his number? Was it not a real one Paul? Were you worried the ink would smudge in the wet? I think we should be told....What a great feeling to have finished. With no disrespect to Blackpool, you don't really want to be there longer than is absolutely necessary. Actually, that is disrespectful to Blackpool, isn't it? Ah well, such is life. To the hills......(no Dave, I'm not 'turning into a fell runner')Alan
Just a quick observation - is that a miniature runner going along next to Mr Peacock - she looks too tiny to be racing, though I know I'm not that big, she looks tiny to me..and yes, there was definitely a tower and a ship there somewhere...
There's definitely a tower in the last picture between Wacca and tony's head.I'll try and blow it up for you-That's the picture not the tower
John...that's never a tower! I thought it was part of Karen's hair - she was a bit windswept when she'd finished.Andy - you're right like. She would be 'petite', or 'titchy' as they'd say in Wallsend.
I think Alans right about the alleged tower in the picture, it's clearly a 'fascinator' (for male fashion dunderheads, that's a hair adornment worn by ladies at special 'do's' like weddings and races) which we didn't see as it swung to horizontal as she belted down the finishing straight, but it had clearly returned to the vertical by the time tho photo was taken!
